Mr. Jeremy Lindquist

“While being the head director of a state and nationally recognized organization may seem intimidating, I simply cannot wait to get started,” Lindquist told band parents in a recent announcement.

Lindquist comes to the position with more than 13 years of experience. Prior to teaching in Coppell, he taught for eight years for the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. From 2005 to 2007, he served as Assistant Director at Creekview High School and led the band to receive its first ever UIL Sweepstakes Award. He also taught for six years at Dan F. Long Middle School. Under Lindquist’s direction, the Dan F. Long band won the Sweepstakes Award at UIL and consistent UIL superior ratings.

Lindquist graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Miami (FL) with a Bachelor of Music Education in 1999. While in Miami, he served as Principal Trombone of both the University of Miami Symphony Orchestra and the University of Miami Wind Ensemble. He is a 1995 graduate of The Colony High School.
